"I was in a car accident back in August of 2022. Just recently after I thought everything was taken care of I received a bill from the IDOT for $3227.46 for a light pole that the IDOT never turned in. I turned the invoice over to Reid Kruse at my State Farm office and Reid was absolutely amazing. She forwarded the invoice off to the State Farm claims office that same day and followed up with a phone call. She called and kept me in the loop, so I was aware of what was going on. She was able to get State Farm to issue and send out a check to the IDOT right away since the invoice stated payment was due in 30 days. She stayed on top of things and emailed the IDOT asking why the check did not show cashed yet. Everything is now taken care of. Reid did an awesome job with both getting the claim and check issued from State Farm and with following up with the IDOT on making sure things were resolved on their end. Only, they didn't sell us the correct policy -- and used the nonprofit login info but attached our personal policies but NOT the nonprofit's policy. I've spent too much time trying to get staff to resolve this issue. It's not that difficult: there are two accounts, people."
