"I can't say enough about Reid from State Farm Insurance. When I couldn't get a hold of the adjuster handling our fire claim I turned to Reid from the local office in Cedar Rapids. She was a big help getting my concerns addressed. If looking for home and auto I highly recommend Jim Humphrey and his staff at State Farm in Cedar Rapids"

"Ive had nothing but kindness, courtesy, and willingness to help me out with car insurance. Got my monthly rate dropped, my deductible lowered and am paying half of my payment with a different company then was paying before. Same coverage as I had with other company. Its always a pleasure when I speak to them. So happy I switched to them."

"UPDATE Service didn't get any better after this. We requested coverage on a second vehicle and once again staff was VERY slow to respond--we had to postpone a trip until we got coverage.FYI I had given the agent a heads up more than a week earlier that we'd be buying a new vehicle. Frustrated. *** I'm frustrated by how many mistakes the staff at this agency have made. We have a personal account with vehicle and home insurance. I opened a NEW account for a nonprofit. Only, they didn't sell us the correct policy -- and used the nonprofit login info but attached our personal policies but NOT the nonprofit's policy. I've spent too much time trying to get staff to resolve this issue. It's not that difficult: there are two accounts, people."

"Fortunately I've rarely had to make a claim (I think it's only been one time due to storm damage), but I have called a few times with questions. The staff in this office have always been VERY responsive and able to completely answer my questions. I have a multi-line policy with this agent (auto, RV, trailer, and home/land). The one time I made a Home Owner's claim they were quick to sent out an adjuster. Due to the widespread storm, many adjusters were brought in from other states and when my roofer said the adjuster missed several items, my agent sent out a different agent who quickly corrected the issues and minimized the out-of-pocket expense for me. A couple of times I did price comparisons over the years and for the items I have covered, State Farm consistently was lower by a significant amount than competitors. That is not the case with my UTVs so those are insured with a different provider."

"I was in a car accident back in August of 2022. Just recently after I thought everything was taken care of I received a bill from the IDOT for $3227.46 for a light pole that the IDOT never turned in. I turned the invoice over to Reid Kruse at my State Farm office and Reid was absolutely amazing. She forwarded the invoice off to the State Farm claims office that same day and followed up with a phone call. She called and kept me in the loop, so I was aware of what was going on. She was able to get State Farm to issue and send out a check to the IDOT right away since the invoice stated payment was due in 30 days. She stayed on top of things and emailed the IDOT asking why the check did not show cashed yet. Everything is now taken care of. Reid did an awesome job with both getting the claim and check issued from State Farm and with following up with the IDOT on making sure things were resolved on their end. She also made sure I was kept totally aware of what was happening. I would highly recommend State Farm and Jim Humphreys for your insurance needs. Jerry Mrstik"
